Birthday Party Aftermath
Well, we had M's birthday party at mom's yesterday and everthing was going well until a nephew spilled apple juice on the new carpet and dripped ice cream on it too. Mom sure got stressed at that point. Other than that, it went well. Thank God birthdays come only once a year.
Today, one of the nieces that was at the party is sick. I hope she didn't pick up something at the party!
Today the sun came out which is great since July was the wettest on record here in Anchorage. But after yesterday's chaos, today is a day of rest in our household. We're not going anywhere until it's time to bring the girls to the sitter's and for me to go to work.
