Time for a Crazy Family Update!
I called home to tell hubby something, but the answering machine picked up early, signaling that a new message had been left. So I listened to it.
It was C's birthmother, drunk. Yeah, the same one who is supposedly getting help for her drinking. Most of her message was unintelligible but at the end, she said, "You have one hour. Get in your basement and hide. One hour."
WTF?
Let me back up a bit. Hubby's brother called last night and hubby vented to him about C's latest antics. He told him something along the lines that if C killed M, we would't be able to keep C, knowing what she did.
Well. Somehow, this conversation got back to C's birthmom, hence her calling and threatening us.
I had had her number blocked from calling our number but had that undone because she seemed to be getting better. Guess I'll have to have it redone.
That, and we're going to call the police to file some sort of report that she threatened us.
