My poor baby

My poor baby. She turns two and her whole world turns upside down.

First, we moved. She doesn't like change and the move stressed her. Second, we took her off the bottle cold-turkey. Again, the change thing. She cried about it for a few days then got used to it. Third, she got her 2-year old immunizations this morning. Fourth, she started biting her nails recently and we're going to nip that in the bud with a product that is brushed on the nails like polish and when it's dry, it tastes really bad. Fifth, we're moving her to a toddler bed because she climbed & fell out of her crib last night and broke her wrist.

Let me elaborate on that last one. When I got home for my dinner break last night, hubby said he put her in her crib when they got home because she was cranky. While he was fixing C a sandwich, he heard a loud thump but figured it was C just being her noisy rambunctious self. That is, until he heard screaming. So he starts running to their bedroom and M comes out holding her arm up and crying and screaming incessantly. Which sets C off and she starts crying because her sister is hurting. So he consoles them both. By the time I got home, everybody had calmed down. Hubby told me what happened and we decided I'd take her to the hospital. She seemed fine. She was happy, was able to move her arm and wrist. But the doctor ordered x-rays anyway, just to be safe. The doc found what is called a buckle fracture at the end of the arm bones at the wrist. So they put a splint on it until orthopedics can put a cast on it. Unfortunately, they can't do that until the 21st! It will probably be healed by then!
