Hubby's new bike
Saturday, hubby bought a bike that he really really likes. It's a Marin something-or-other. It cost $299. Looking at Marin's website, $299 is on the lower end of the price range of their bikes. Anyway, we went for a bike ride yesterday afternoon along the coastal trail. It was a good ride.
Last night around 9:30 or so, hubby took the bikes out of the back of the truck and put them in the yard. At 1:30, after watching Evelyn (very good movie, btw), hubby went outside to get his bike and bring it inside.
It wasn't there.
It was nowhere in our yard.
It was stolen.
He hadn't locked it up outside when he took it off the truck!
We looked around outside last night, but it was too dark to see much. Hubby filed a police report, but we'll probably never see the bike again. Hubby went out early this morning to walk around the neighborhood to look in yards and such to see if anybody nearby had it. No such luck.
Makes me sick.
