Catching up
Hubby and the girls went to the birthday party Sunday. The gift they brought was a quillow I made. I made the pillow part too small so I'm getting a bigger piece of fabric and will fix it.
I'm in a quillow-making mood now. That's what all the nieces and nephews will be getting for birthday presents over the next year. If you've read my entries from around last Christmas, you might remember we decided against giving them Christmas gifts. Birthdays, fine, Christmas not. The last time we gave them Christmas gifts, we didn't hear one "thank you" at all. Ungrateful little shits.
My BIL's doctor appointment went well. The local doc found the same thing the previous doc did in Laramie, but interpreted the results differently. So that's good news for them. He gets to keep the job and won't be grounded by the FAA. I'll miss them though.
Usually, hubby takes the truck to work in the morning and I take the van in the afternoon to drop the girls off at the sitter's. But because the truck's in the shop, hubby usually takes the van in the morning and picks us up on his lunch break. But M had an appointment scheduled for 9 this morning so the girls and I got up early and went with hubby so we could have the van.
M's appointment was an evaluation with a speech therapy program. They determined she could use their services.
Then we had to pick up hubby for his own appointment at noon. He had gone to the doc a week ago or so complaining of dizziness, sweats, and worried about his heart. Today's appointment was a follow-up. His heart's fine, as is his blood pressure. His cholesterol is normal. There's just one test whose result hasn't come back yet. Basically, the doctor can't find anything wrong with him.
