Crazy Inlaws Update

M*rgana's pregnant, again. I don't know why she keeps doing this to herself and everyone around her. She hardly takes care of her 1-year old son. She can't wait for each Saturday to come so that he can be with his father for the weekend. Starting with C, each pregnancy outcome has been worse than the last. C was born full-term, but small at 16 1/2 inches, with torticollis, a noisy breathing problem, and exposed to alcohol, now causing behavioral problems. The one after C, a boy I'll call J, was born a month premature, 4 lbs., with an extra thumb, and most likely exposed to alcohol. If the current baby she's pregnant with isn't stillborn, it will probably have an extra head or something.

C@role is being sued by her ex-employer on 12 counts. One of those counts is for embezzlement. He claimes she stole $300,000 or more, maybe $1-million from his company, now bankrupt. Of course, she claims innocence.

I don't know though. At the time of the suposed crime(s), she was addicted to cocaine, so I wouldn't put it past her to do something like that.

She called here the other night at 12:30 a.m. wanting to talk with hubby. She gave him some sob story about how her ex-husband is having her evicted from the house (which he's supposed to still be making payments on), and how he convinced some judge that since she's working (a new one, different than the one for which she's being sued), she can't be home to take care of her two kids from a previous marriage and the one they had together.

So, supposedly, she's supposed to be out by today and the kids go to their respective fathers.

Hubby offered her our place to stay if she needs it.

Okay, maybe I should feel sorry for her, but I don't. As far as I care, she made her bed, now she can lay in it. Why should I offer her hospitality when she's shit on me at least twice in the past? Because that would be taking the high road and the "nice" thing to do? Hell, she can go find someone else's couch to crash on. Besides, she has two dogs, a cat, and an iguana. We're not allowed to have pets here.
