Mother's Day Weekend
We went for a 3-mile hike along the Coastal Trail Saturday afternoon. My shins are killing me!
Yesterday, we started the day by going to the Musk Ox Farm in Palmer. Good thing admission was only a buck because it was kinda boring. C learned what Musk Oxen are though. Then we had lunch in Palmer. By the time we got back to town, it was 4:30, almost too late to go to the bead fair at the Egan Center so we didn't go. We went to Elderberry Park instead and hiked maybe a half mile along the Coastal Trail. Then let the kids play in the park's playground for awhile. Then went to hubby's sister's place ( the one that crapped out on babysitting for us last February/March) and asked her to babysit the girls so we could go see "The Mummy Returns." Great movie! Then we picked up the girls and went home.
